What to check before a social post goes out
A short review for the message, the facts, the brand voice, the platform fit, the links, and the video before a post is approved.
A draft is not ready because it exists. Someone still has to check that the message is the one you agreed, the facts are real, and the file attached to the post is the right one.
In Zablyn, review is required before a piece is approved. From review onward the writing stays locked. That lock is useful only if the check itself is real.
Six things to read before you approve
- Message: does this version still say the core point, or did the draft drift into a different offer?
- Facts: names, dates, prices, and claims are ones you can stand behind. Do not leave a guessed number in the caption.
- Brand voice: it matches the tone you set, including the things you never say.
- Platform fit: the length and format suit that network. An X post is not a LinkedIn post with the ending cut off.
- Links: they go where the sentence says they go, and they are not placeholders.
- Video: the attached file is the right story and the right shape for that placement.
Check the video separately from the caption
Open the export and watch the first few seconds. Confirm the logo or name, the headline, and the shape. A 16:9 file on a 9:16 placement is a different mistake from a wrong caption.
If the clip was trimmed in Cut, confirm you attached the saved Gallery file and not the original.
Then schedule, or post
After approval, Schedule holds the date. You can drag a post to another day and edit the text, the time, and the video before it goes out. You can plan a post before the account is connected.
Post now needs the account to be connected. Today that send works for LinkedIn. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X can be connected and planned. Posting to them from Zablyn is not available yet, so do not treat a scheduled card on those networks as a live post.
The same review applies when the draft started as one story. See how that story becomes a network version, and how to choose the video shape before you export.
